Meeting Overview: Join the NNA-CO education & outreach team in a hands-on session, practicing a technique that translates data from Arctic region projects and climate projection scenarios into stories of possible futures and actions youth and adults can take to create their best possible future. The workshop will provide lesson plans and hands-on practice with the technique.
Presenters: Dr. Katie Villano Spellman is a life-long Alaskan and Research Associate Professor at UAF’s International Arctic Research Center. She leads and collaborates on several different science education and public participation in scientific research projects including Arctic and Earth SIGNs, Winterberry Citizen Science, Fostering Science, and Fresh Eyes on Ice.
