Robert Swan is de eerste mens die te voet zowel de Zuidpool als de Noordpool bereikte. In het kader van 2041 organiseert Robert Swan sinds 2003 de Inspire Antarctic Expedition naar Antarctica. De volgende Inspire Antarctic Expedition gaat door van 27 februari 2012 tot 12 maart 2012.
